The Housekeeping Component is an effective tool in managing your hotel's housekeeping department. We provide a wide variety of reports that allow your maid staff to divide workloads and cleaning schedules based on your policies and specific property needs. Our SumIT system tracks your housekeeping unit status in real time, so your front desk knows the instant your maid staff changes the cleaning status, even as they leave the room cleaned.

Cleaning Schedules by Section, Floor, and/or Credits: With the SumIT Housekeeping system, you have flexibility in how you divide your housekeeping schedules. You may assign units to be cleaned based on sections that you define, floors in the building, or credits that you define to assign equal workloads to your maid staff.

Housekeeping Functions: Define different levels of cleaning functions which are ideal for extended guest stays, green properties, and condominium properties that don't necessarily provide complete cleaning services on a daily basis. Functions can be assigned a cleaning frequency as well as a cleaning credit amount.

Cleaning Credits and Functions: The unit numbers hold a cleaning credit and the cleaning function can also hold a credit. Functions define different services provided by the cleaning department such as partial cleans or towel drops. The functions can be set up for different times during the guest stay, this allows the system to provide different services depending on the type business category. By combining these functions the services and the cleaning schedules provide an automated, quick and effective system for handling your housekeeping needs.

Number of Rooms: Each unit number can be defined with the number of bedrooms, full baths, half baths, kitchens, living rooms, dens, lofts, fireplaces, balconies, patios, grills, whirlpools, and saunas.

Number of Beds: Each unit number can be defined with the number of beds in each unit, broken down by kings, California kings, queens, full, doubles, twins, bunk, sofa beds twin, sofa beds queen, trundle, and cribs. These numbers are provided to help stock cleaning carts with sheets, as well as print on the cleaning schedules.

Number of Linens: Each unit number can be defined with the number of linens required to service the unit, broken down by bath towels, hand towels, face cloths, bath mats, dish towels, and dish cloths. These numbers are provided to help stock cleaning carts with sheets, as well as print on the cleaning schedules.

Special Requests: Our Housekeeping software tracks and reports guest special requests, and alerts the staff about late sleepers, extra towel requirements, in-unit pets, and whatever user-defined requests you wish to track.

Multiple Housekeeping Techniques: Our Housekeeping component accommodates several different types housekeeping techniques, the standard full cleaning every day or user defined housekeeping functions such as light cleans, full cleans, or towel drops.
